Ella Etheridge a MA Fine Art Student. Her work is about using natural materials to produce a range of costume that can blend back into nature.
My work initially employs the act of walking in nature, where I collect, scavenge and log a variety of natural materials that are then used intuitively to create a range of tactile and visceral costumes. I then wear these back in the landscape and the costume transforms to living beast, the ritual of becoming animal/hybrid through natural objects has occurred in England for over 10,000 years.
